Here is a status most operators have never looked at, sitting in their own Google Ads account: "No campaigns advertising this product."
It means exactly what it says. The product is fine. The feed is fine. It is simply not in any campaign that can serve it, or every campaign it belongs to has a problem.
Approved is not the same as advertised
Merchant Center decides whether a product is eligible. Google Ads decides whether an eligible product is actually in a live campaign that can bid for it.
A product can pass the first and fail the second in complete silence.
The product issues worth reading
- No campaigns advertising this product
- High target ROAS
- Low manual bids and low maximum CPC
Impression share, and reading it at product group level
Campaign-level impression share tells you about your average. Product-group-level reporting tells you where that average comes from. If you only look at the campaign number, you are looking at the blend.
A coverage audit you can actually run
- Filter products for "No campaigns advertising this product"
- Join the list against revenue and margin data
- Add impression share at product group level
- Separate budget, bid, and target constraints
- Review "Everything else" groups and old exclusions
- Make new collections inherit the labels campaign structure depends on
No tool can promise impression share. What you can fix is whether your best products are in the auction at all.
